Only one extrusion does all.
Hersic's SunnyRail extrusion composes the entire mounting system, allowing contractors the flexibility, on-site control and familiarity of wood construction beams.
Pre-cut front and back legs add convenience, reduce waste and minimize labor time.
LOW AND HIGH PROFILE
Low-profile configuration has panels near the surface of the roof.
The simple and intuitive design minimizes cost due to less material. It is ideal for areas with limited snow accumulation and for applications that require systems with less height.
High-profile configuration elevates panels from the roof.
Adding a third dimension to a solar system has never been so easy. In fact, most of the components are the same as the Low-profile configuration. Elevation allows panels to avoid snow obstruction in the winter and has some positive effects on wind cooling.
Solid, engineered, extruded aluminum clamps. - Assembly is completely intuitive and can be done with a simple wrench.
- Lock nuts make all fastening between components fast, easy and robust.
- The number of different parts that compose the SunnyRail mounting system is minimal.
MINIMAL, FLEXIBLE AND INTELLIGENT
System design and layout is completely flexible.
- Compatible with different panel sizes.
- Wide array of tilt angles.
- Distance between rows is completely variable.
- Elevation from roof is completely variable.
- Panels can easily be omitted from array, both small and large amounts.
Rails are at roof level, allowing easy movement throughout the system and facilitating snow clearing.
Each rail structure holds panels on both sides.
Using less materials lowers weight and minimizes system costs.
WIND TUNNEL TESTED
The SunnyRail flat roof mounting system is wind tunnel tested by a leading Ontario test facility, allowing significantly less ballasting. It also confirms that the SunnyRail mounting system is designed to minimize wind loads.
Conforms to the Ontario Building Code.
The SunnyRail flat roof mounting system is engineer-stamped by a prominent Ontario structural engineering firm.
10 & 20 kg ballasts sit snugly on rails for reduced footprint and faster installations.
Rubber pads insulate rails from the roof and maximize friction, which helps against wind loads.
System conceals and protects electrical cabling in cavity along the side of the rails.
Anodized aluminum available in black or colour.
Plastic end caps are available as an option for a finished look.
